Evening closes in with a dazzling orange sunset on the Atchafalaya River
The reflection on the Stokksnes Peninsula. The seawater pools here into a lagoon of sorts. So still, that at certain times it creates a mirror reflection of the Vestrahorn until the tide moves it out. Taking advantage of the midnight sun for incredible moody sunset shots.
Haleakala means 'House of the Sun'. Its barren and sweeping landscape and 'mars like' in its features, is one of nine National Parks on the Hawaiian Islands. The clouds engulfed us quickly on an otherwise gorgeous blue sky day.
Fall comes late in Louisiana with some of the best color in the cyprus happening in mid-November. Here you can see just small bits of orange in the Bald Cyprus. The fog was just starting to burn off here as the daybreak sun rose.
